The success of Silicon Valley in technology entrepreneurship

In this report we have described how Silicon Valley has managed to become a leader in the creation of start-ups worldwide. This success is due mainly to private investment, both in human capital and resources, and is the fruit of extensive experience and a long tradition in this area that spans nearly 100 years. Although in Spain a similar investment from private sources does not seem viable at the moment, the new Science Law allows steps to be taken to stabilize the scientific-technical research staff situation and attract the private capital needed to create new start-ups. We have clearly seen how investment in technology companies that provide global services generates substantial wealth for a country and is a bright path towards the future. Malaga is the example of success in Spain, and this success can be transferred to other parts of the country by establishing technology hubs specialized in various aspects, all of which can generate new economic opportunities in the future.
